It’s an amazing time when you and your children will begin to discover all the things that make them unique. That’s why Precious Gifts Childcare, founded in 2004, has helped hundreds of children meet their own learning benchmarks through classroom instruction, small group projects, 1:1 tutoring, and hands-on play. Located on Market Street in the heart of Dunellen, NJ, our daycare and preschool offers a loving environment where students feel confident enough to ask questions—and become curious enough to seek answers. We’re especially proud of our student diversity and celebrate the characteristics that make us all different.

Classes

0-18 months

Nurturing is the focus of our infant room. We follow each baby’s individual feeding and sleeping schedule. The children have ample time to play in the play sets, enjoy tummy time, and even roll around and explore the room for themselves. Our infant room teacher, Ms. Shontae, does art projects with the babies and introduces them to music. Parents can look forward to taking home cuddle grams or daysheets at pickup.

18 months - 3 years

Introduction is the focus for our toddler group. Our toddler room teacher, Ms. Ashley, introduces the children to one letter every two weeks as well as numbers ranging from zero to 10. She works on their colors and shapes and usually does two art projects per week. All the work Ms. Ashley does coincides with a monthly theme, which can range from Zoo Animals and Pumpkins to Musical Instruments and Families.

3 years - 5 years

Application is the focus for our older children. Daycare director Mrs. Cheryl teaches one number and one letter every week. The children practice writing in composition books and in weekly homework packets that are centered around the month’s theme. Our book-buddy system lets the children bring home a different book home every night as long as they return it the next day—instilling a sense of responsibility.

Tuition

Tuition includes morning snacks and refreshments. We offer a 10% discount for siblings, with the discount applied to the older sibling’s weekly tuition. Want a half-day schedule? Our half-day childcare goes from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm every day—at $160 per week for 5 days, $150 per week for 3 days, and $140 for 2 days.
